Students and staff at Western Nevada College experimented with virtual and augmented reality-based learning technology on Oct. 23 and 24 at the Carson City campus. zSpace, a technology firm from Sunnyvale, Calif., mobilized 10 tabletop work stations as part of its Northern Nevada mobile classroom tour in Northern Nevada. The hands-on demonstrations allowed participants to interact with simulated objects in virtual environments.
