Community Thanksgiving dinner to be served at Main St. fire station
Robert Perea, The Fernley Reporter The 11th annual Fernley Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24 at the Main Street Fire Station. There is no charge for the dinner, which is sponsored by the Fernley Rotary Club and put together entirely by volunteers. A complete Thanksgiving meal will be served, and meals will be delivered to homebound residents who request it. The dinner began in 2012 as the idea from 10-year-old Sarah Jean Gleason, who believes we need to band together, help each other and build new relationships to strengthen our community. Everyone is welcome to attend and share a Thanksgiving dinner, regardless of their circumstances.

For information, call Roy at (775) 790-5655 or Harry at (775) 835-2491.

I grew up in Fernley and would be interested to see how many answers I know. The coin is beautiful. Congrats on 25 years as a city! Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.
