Dear Falcon Families,

Welcome to Fernley Intermediate School. We are looking forward to another great year!

Tuesday August 29, 2017 -Class lists posted at FIS office and available on Infinite Visions Parent Portal

Back to School Night

FIS will hold Back to School Night/Open House on Wednesday, August 30th.
5th grade at 5PM - Gym
6th grade at 6PM- Gym

• Parking may be an issue, please consider the front parking lot as well as behind the gym
• Please note that this is meet the teacher night and not a parent conference, my wish is that all parents get to meet their wonderful teacher and our teachers meet their exceptional students

Thursday, August 31, 2017- First Day of School (8:25am-3:15pm) Welcome Back!

Monday, September 4, 2017- No School- Labor Day

Bus Schedules are posted on the FIS website www.fis.lyoncsd.org and will be available at Back to School Night.

Our general supply list is not required and is located at Wal-Mart and on our website as well.

School starts at 8:25am and ends at 3:15pm (Mon-Thur) and will dismiss one hour early every Friday at 2:15pm for teacher collaboration.

I hope you have enjoyed your summer. We look forward to the 2017-2018 school year. Please call us at 575-3390 with any questions.

It smells like sewage and it can be bad enough that people don’t want to be outside or open their windows. I was really disappointed that the smell was not disclosed by my realtor when I moved here. I enjoy Fernley and am seeing the improvements that are being made.
