Suspect sought in attempted kidnapping

The Lyon County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to locate Richard "Rich" Brereton for a charge of attempted kidnapping and burglary, and for being an ex-felon in possession of a gun.

He is wearing a dark gray shirt, blue jeans and a dark ball cap. He is driving a 2013 white Ford Escape with Nevada plate 260 AVW, and was last seen in the area of Trubode Lane area on the east side of Fernley.
