Library hosts voter registration

Library hosts voter registration
Joseph Maino, The Fernley Reporter

Beginning today, July 23 and continuing every other Saturday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Fernley Library, residents have an easy way to register to vote.

Joseph Maino, The Fernley Reporter
Diana Harper and Kay Stone manned today’s
voter’s registration table at the Fernley library.

Diana Harper and Kay Stone staff the voter registration table.

“Most people stopping by the table are already registered and just want to talk,” Stone said. “So far we’ve had about three people actually register, but it’s early yet.”

If you are a new voter, if you have changed your address or if you have changed your name, since the last time you voted, you must register again in order to vote in this November’s General Election.

I grew up in Fernley and would be interested to see how many answers I know. The coin is beautiful. Congrats on 25 years as a city! Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.
