1st Option Realty hosting Blood Drive with variety of activities

1st Option Realty is hosting a day of art, silent auction, blood donation and fun, this Saturday, May 13 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

There will also be a short class on highway safety and basic vehicle maintenance, put on by the Nevada Highway Patrol and others. This class will include hands on training on how to change a tire. Please RSVP and be here by 11 a.m. for this class.

1st Option Realty is using this event to raise money and awareness for Healthy Communities Coalition, and will be accepting donations on their behalf of clothing, shoes, and hygiene items. All of the proceeds from the silent auction, as well as contributions from the artists will go to their cause. In addition, they will be giving back to area hospital patients in need of life saving blood transfusions.

United Blood Services will be at 1st Option Realty, 40 N. Center St in Fernley from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with their Bloodmobile.

In addition to knowing your donation just saved three lives, you will also receive a voucher for a free Port-of-Subs sandwich and drink.
