Paint & Sip May 5th

Paint & Sip May 5th

What could be more fun than painting? How about painting and drinking wine at the same time for a good cause.

Denise Wagner, Katie Gillespie and the folks at 1st Option Realty are hosting a Paint and Sip on Friday, May 5 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. to benefit an employee of Home at Last, who had a cancer scare. Wagner notes, “I've been to several of these events and thought it would be a good way for Fernley residents to have fun while helping out one of our own.”

A roving artist instructs the attendees on basic painting techniques and helps the budding Vincent Van Goghs to produce their masterpieces. You do not need to be an artist or wine aficionado to attend the festivities and all necessary materials are provided. Libations and treats include wine, mimosas, and cheese and crackers. Cost for the event is $35.

Only 4 spots are still available. Call Denise Wagner (775-745-9906) or Katie Gillespie (775-636-0964) before Friday afternoon for reservations.

I grew up in Fernley and would be interested to see how many answers I know. The coin is beautiful. Congrats on 25 years as a city! Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.
