The Nevada Storm, a women’s full contact football team that competes in the semipro Independent Women’s Football League played a home game in Fernley Saturday afternoon.
The Utah Falconz, last year’s IWFL champions, defeated the Storm 40-0.
The Nevada Storm was founded in 2010 and joined the IWFL in 2015.
The team has two home games remaining, May 13 in Virginia City and May 27 in Dayton.
