Mayor’s Clean Sweep scheduled Saturday

The annual Mayor’s Clean Sweep to clean the city of Fernley is scheduled from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 29.

All residents are invited to participate.

To participate, meet t the Out of Town Park near the Gazebo. Volunteers will be organized into groups for various projects throughout the city.

Lunch will be provided for participants at noon at the Gazebo.

For those working on cleaning projects at home, Stericycle, located at 2095 E. Newlands, will be taking TV’s, oil, paint and other hazardous materials on Saturday during the Mayor’s Clean Sweep event from 9 a.m. until noon.
