Juvenile arrested in Fernley graffiti case

Juvenile arrested in Fernley graffiti case
The Fernley Reporter

On April 22, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office and the Tri-County Gang Task Force arrested a juvenile in Fernley as part of an ongoing investigation into recent graffiti incidents in the Hardie Lane and Westerlund Lane area. The youth also had an outstanding warrant for assault with a deadly weapon. Upon arrest the individual was handed over to a Juvenile Probation Officer for transport to a juvenile detention facility.

The Tri-County Gang Task Force is made up of members of the Carson, Douglas and Lyon County Sheriff’s Offices designed to investigate incidents that have or could have possible gang-related ties. The Task Force is also looking into a series of vehicle burglaries in the same area of Fernley.

If you have information or possible leads regarding either the graffiti incidents or the vehicle burglaries, please contact the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office at 775-577-5206 (reference agency case number 17LY01463). Or call Secret Witness at 775-322-4900 or www.secretwitness.com.

Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.
