Danny grew up in Fernley, and graduated valedictorian from Fernley High School in 1983.
In high school, he was known for his passion for football, and an outgoing personality, which caused him to spend a lot of time in the principal's office in grade school. Because of his love for the game, he tried out for a pro team but was rejected for being too small. He enrolled in pre-med, and worked at Washoe Medical Center, hoping to get any position on the medical staff of any pro football team.
Danny leaves behind a daughter Riley, and her two daughters; a son, Chase; his sister, Nancy, his sister Kaylene (and her husband Rick), and his brother Rick (and his wife Harriet); his nieces and nephews, Shanna, Nelson, Selena, Shane and Troy; and several cousins.
Danny will be remembered fondly by his family and loved ones. He will be deeply missed by those whose lives he touched.
Danny, rest in peace, forever remembered, and always loved.
