After Coleville was required by the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association to forfeit last Thursday’s game, the Pyramid Lake High School football team is scheduled to wrap up its season this Thursday for its homecoming game when it hosts Virginia City at 7 p.m.
Seniors for football and cross country will be honored and Homecoming royalty will be announced and the Parade of Class Floats will take place during halftime.
After the NIAA investigated a fight during the previous week’s game between Owyhee and Coleville, both teams were required to forfeit their next game. The Lakers were scheduled to play at Coleville on Oct. 22.
The forfeit gave the Lakers their second win of the season. Pyramid Lake is now 2-6 overall and 2-5 in the Northern 1A.
