Over the past several years, the 4,300-acre Victory Logistics District has grown from open desert into one of Northern Nevada's largest industrial developments, bringing new construction and, understandably, new questions from the community.
That's why we're launching Ask Victory: a direct line between our project and the people of Fernley.
Starting this week, residents can submit any question about the Victory Logistics District: about traffic, water, power, jobs, timelines, tax revenue or project costs - or anything else you want to know - through an online portal or by email at [email protected]. We'll respond directly to everyone who writes in, and we’ll publish the most common questions and our answers, right here in the Fernley Reporter and on our Facebook page.
We're doing this because a project this size and community importance deserves real answers, not rumors. Victory is not a single building or a single decision. It's a multi-year, multi-phase development - from the buildings already open and operating today to the employers, infrastructure, and housing still to come. It will keep evolving as new needs and new opportunities emerge. That complexity is real, and so is our responsibility to be straightforward about it, even when the honest answer is "we're still working that out."
What isn't complicated is our goal. Victory is being built to bring lasting economic opportunity to Fernley: new employers, new career paths, new local business opportunities with our workforce partnership with Western Nevada College to help make sure local residents are first in line for the jobs this project creates. Alongside that growth, we're committed to investing in the kind of infrastructure and community benefits - roads, services, retail and green space - that make Fernley a better place to live.
None of that happens without trust, and trust starts with listening. So if you've ever wondered what's actually happening at Victory, or what it means for your street, your water bill, or your kids' future job prospects, now's the time to ask.
Submit your question by scanning the QR code below or email [email protected]. We're listening, and we'll answer.
