Six students from Fernley, Fallon, and Lyon County were among 76 students who made the 2026 Summer Dean’s List at Western Nevada College.
To qualify for the Dean’s List during the summer term, students are required to attain a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and complete six units of classes or more.
“Academic achievement requires commitment, discipline and perseverance, and our 2026 Summer Dean’s List students have demonstrated all three,” said WNC President Dr. J. Kyle Dalpe. “Earning a 3.50 GPA or higher while completing at least six credits during the summer is a significant accomplishment, and these 76 students should be proud of the excellence they have achieved. Their success reflects not only their dedication, but also the support of our faculty, staff, families and communities. We congratulate each of our Dean’s List honorees and look forward to seeing where their hard work takes them.”
