The City of Fernley will begin a working-group review of its Title 16 code enforcement regulations on Sept. 10.
Building Official Charity Birkle told the Fernley City Council that staff has already reviewed and redlined the code internally and plans to work through the proposed changes during approximately three to four meetings.
The working group includes six Fernley residents, city code enforcement staff and Birkle.
Birkle said the review is expected to be completed within several meetings, after which the proposed revisions will return to the City Council for discussion.
She did not respond to a request for the list of names of the six community members serving on the working group.
