The Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows Serving Fernley is offering All-Star Youth Basketball Leagues in Fernley.
Registration is open now for the leagues, which run Nov. 2 through Dec. 31 for students in kindergarten through second grade. Leagues for students in third through eighth grades will run Jan. 4 through March 12.
Games and practices will be held at Silverland Middle School.
Kindergarten through second-grade league offers a fun introduction to basketball, giving boys and girls a chance to get on the court, learn the fundamentals, stay active, build confidence and make new friends while learning the value of being part of a team.
Older players will have the opportunity to strengthen their fundamental skills while growing as athletes and teammates.
The kindergarten through second grade and third- and fourth-grade leagues are co-ed, while the fifth- and sixth-grade and seventh- and eighth-grade leagues are divided into boys and girls divisions.
The cost is $60, plus a one-time $20 membership fee for nonmembers.
