Waste Management has officially opened its new Silver Springs Transfer Station at 2425 Almond Drive.
The company celebrated the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony joined by the Silver Springs Area Chamber of Commerce and other community partners.
The new facility features an updated unloading design intended to provide a cleaner and more efficient experience for customers while expanding local waste-handling infrastructure in the Silver Springs area.
The transfer station is open Tuesday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is closed for lunch from noon to 12:30 p.m.
The Chamber congratulated Waste Management on the investment and welcomed the new facility as an addition to the community.
