Western Nevada College will host an Open House registration event from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11 for its Fernley facility at 1740 Nevada Pacific Pkwy, Ste. 100.
Registration will be available for advanced manufacturing courses such as ELM 110: Basic Electricity and ELM 134: Programmable Logic Controllers I. The courses offer pathways to skills certificates, a Certificate of Achievement and AAS technical degree.
Prospective students can meet with advisors and Student Services representatives for on-site registration assistance; test out the robotic controller and take a preview tour of the new facility and future classrooms.
