The Fernley Senior Citizen Advisory Committee will hold a fan giveaway for local seniors on Saturday, June 13, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Clock Tower at Main Street and Silver Lace Boulevard.
The event is part of the committee’s effort to provide cooling resources as temperatures rise heading into summer.
Seniors can receive a new fan at no cost, and no application or advance registration is required.
The giveaway is supported by volunteers, donors and community partners.
