A driver was injured Monday morning in a crash involving a passenger vehicle and a school bus on U.S. 95A at Cottonwood Lane, according to the North Lyon Fire Protection District.
Crews were dispatched just before 6:30 a.m. and arrived to find the driver of the passenger vehicle trapped. Firefighters extricated the driver, who was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.
No students were on the bus at the time of the crash, and the bus driver was not injured.
The Nevada State Police and Lyon County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
