Porter earns second-team all-league, qualifies for 3A State Golf Meet

Fernley High School senior Danny Porter earned second team all-league honors and will represent the Vaqueros in the 3A State Golf Tournament next week.

Porter finished 10th in the Northern 3A season standings with an average score of 82.2 and was the only Fernley player to qualify for State.

Porter will compete in the 3A State Meet, scheduled for May 12–13 at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City.
