Boys & Girls Club to hold groundbreaking ceremony for ELC April 14

The Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows Serving Fernley is scheduled to host a groundbreaking ceremony for the Early Learning Center at the Community Response and Resource Center at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 14.

The ELC is the second phase of the CRRC and is being funded entirely through the Boys & Girls Club’s own fundraising, with roughly $4 million allocated to build and equip the facility. It will provide childcare and pre-K services for children from six weeks to five years old and is expected to be completed in time to open this fall.
