WNC offers late-start, flexible classes for spring semester

Western Nevada College is giving students additional ways to join the spring semester, offering a range of late-start, short-term and open-entry classes as the term reaches its midpoint.

WNC President J. Kyle Dalpe said the flexible options are designed for students whose schedules don’t always align with a traditional semester. Many late-start and short-term classes begin March 23, with offerings in American Sign Language, auto mechanics, human anatomy, manufacturing automation, mathematics, welding and other high-demand areas.

Open-entry courses are also available in aviation, construction, English, finance, music, psychology and additional subjects. Students have until March 26 to enroll in open-entry classes and must complete the coursework by the end of the semester.

Current and prospective students can review available classes at wnc.edu/class-schedule. Individuals not yet enrolled can begin the admissions process at wnc.edu/starthere.

For more information, contact Admissions and Records at 775-445-3277. Students seeking academic guidance can reach Academic Advising at 775-445-3267 or schedule an appointment at wnc.edu/advising.
