Hendrix announces candidacy for re-election to School Board

Lyon County School Board President Tom Hendrix announced Feb. 13 that he will seek re-election to a second term to the LCSD Board of Trustees.

Hendrix was elected to the School Board in 2022 and has served as Board President since last January.

Hendrix said he plans to continue his leadership and strengthen community involvement and transparency in district operations.

“My priority is to ensure every student in Lyon County receives a strong educational foundation through opportunity and support," Hendrix said. “Experienced leadership and open communication are essential as we plan for the future of our schools.”

As Lyon County continues to experience change, Hendrix said he will remain focused on student success, accountability, and fiscal responsibility.

"Together we will build a better future for our students and everyone in the Lyon County School District,” he said.

Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.
