Man charged with destruction of property after throwing rocks at restaurant windows

A Fernley man charged with throwing rocks at several restaurants and a bank was arrested Dec. 28 on five counts of destruction of property.

According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to Main St. and East Newlands Drive for a report of destruction of property at McDonald’s. Deputies were informed that a man had thrown rocks at the windows. While there, deputies also learned that the man had thrown rocks at the windows of KFC, Jack in the Box, Panda Express and WaFd Bank. The rocks caused damage at each location.

Deputies found the suspect, who they later identified as Salvador Herrera-Rosas, at a nearby gas station. He was charged with five counts of destruction of property and booked into the Lyon County Jail with bail set at $5,700.

Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.
