Public Input Sought for Nevada Outdoor Recreation Planning

Public Input Sought for Nevada Outdoor Recreation Planning

The Nevada Division of State Parks and the Nevada Division of Outdoor Recreation need your input on outdoor recreation in Nevada. The Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP) is a 10-year plan that establishes priorities to address unmet needs for public outdoor recreation land throughout Nevada.

This plan establishes criteria for funding outdoor recreation projects in Nevada through the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) program and guides the acquisition and development of public parks, trails and other outdoor recreation sites.

Public input is crucial for developing a comprehensive plan that addresses Nevada’s outdoor recreation needs.

Please take this survey and share this survey with everyone. If you don’t live in Nevada but visit often to utilize public land and recreation, you are also welcome to take it.

Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.
