Christmas for Kids

Christmas for Kids, a local no-profit program, will be hosting two more “Stuff the Ambulance” events this week and next week to fill an ambulance with toys, clothing and gifts for children in Fernley.

Donations of new, unwrapped toys or clothing for kids of all ages can be brought to the Fernley City Hall during the community Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 5-8 p.m. Donors can also enjoy hot cocoa, warm apple cider and candy canes with North Lyon Firefighters.

The final event will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12 at the North Lyon Fire Station 61 on Main Street.

All donations are distributed to children in Fernley.
