With just a few weeks left before this year’s Wreaths Across America event, the Nevada
Veterans Coalition is seeking volunteers and wreath sponsorships.
This year’s event will be held at 9 a.m. on Dec. 13 at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial
Cemetery, and the Veterans Coalition is looking for donations of refreshments or raffle prizes for
the events. The cost to sponsor a wreath is $17 per wreath.
For the past several years, the Nevada Veterans Coalition has raised enough money to place a
wreath on every gravesite in the cemetery, a total of more than 8,000 wreaths.
