Volunteers invited to help 4th of July Committee

The Fernley 4th of July Committee is gearing up for another unforgettable Independence Day

celebration and is looking for volunteers to help to make it happen. Whether you're a longtime

local or new to town, volunteering is a great way to connect with neighbors, support your

community, and be part of something spectacular.

Next year’s 4th of July will be held in conjunction with the City of Fernley’s 25th anniversary

celebration.

There are a variety of opportunities to get involved. The committee currently has two open board

positions, but it is not necessary to join the board to volunteer.

Volunteers are welcome to help with all aspects of planning and hosting the celebration.

The 4th of July Committee meets at 6 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month through May,

then weekly in June at the Fernley Senior Center. Because the second Tuesday of November this

year falls on Veterans Day, the November meeting will be next Tuesday, Nov. 4.

If you’re interested, email [email protected] or call (775) 399-4796 for more

information

I grew up in Fernley and would be interested to see how many answers I know. The coin is beautiful. Congrats on 25 years as a city! Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.
