A and H Insurance celebrated the opening of its new Fernley office with an open house last Friday, Feb. 3.

The company has served Northern Nevada since 1957, and opened the agency in Fernley in 2015.

The new office is located at 415 Hwy. 95A, Building B, Suite 202.

The company offers personal, business and commercial and health and life insurance.

Agent Tina Petersen thanked A and H President Jeff Shaffer and Vice President Brad Pearce for their support and their faith in her to start an office in Fernley.

“You guys took a leap of faith and here we are in our own office,” Petersen said. “I just thank all of my clients and everyone who has supported me.”

Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.Comment publication date: 5/7/26, 10:26 AMComment source: Storey County, Tesla partner to extend I-80 Patrick on-rampComment author: Alan ReederComment text: Great guy, laughed easily, had fun with his students, enjoyed our time together at FHS!Comment publication date: 4/23/26, 10:23 PMComment source: Howard David JacksonComment author: Jack & Nancy CookComment text: Wonderful man.
