The Washoe County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Vadim Kruglov, 37, of Tacoma, WA.

The Pershing County Sheriff's Office is asking for help to identify the victim of a homicide at the Burning Man Festival.

On Aug. 30 at approximately 9:14 p.m., while the ‘Man’ was beginning to burn, a PCSO deputy was flagged down by an event participant who reported there was a man lying in a pool of blood.

Deputies and Bureau of Land Management rangers responded to the campsite and found the man dead on the ground. Investigators interviewed several people in the immediate area cordoned off the perimeter in the area where the body was found. The identity of the man was not immediately known, the sheriff’s office said. 

The body was transported to the Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office.

PCSO is looking to identify the victim, who they believe is between the ages of 35 and 40, approximately 6 feet tall and 200 pounds with short brown hair and facial hair. 

They are also looking for help to identify a suspect.
