A driver who apparently suffered a medical event died after the SUV he was driving crashed into
a house near the intersection of Main Street and 6th Street on Monday afternoon.
The Nevada Highway Patrol responded to the crash at approximately 12:58 p.m. The preliminary
investigation indicates that a SUV was traveling eastbound on Main St. The SUV ran off the
right shoulder and struck several signs. The SUV then came to a stop striking a house.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel. Witnesses said it appeared
that he experienced a medical event. A female passenger was transported to a hospital with
unknown injuries.
