At approximately 12:58 p.m. on August 11, 2025, the Nevada Highway Patrol responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on US50A at 6th Street in Fernley, Nevada. The preliminary investigation indicates that a SUV was traveling eastbound on US50A. The SUV ran off the right shoulder and struck several signs. The SUV then came to a stop striking a house.

The driver, an adult male, was pronounced deceased on scene by medical personnel.

The SUV was also occupied by an adult female passenger. The passenger has been transported to a local area hospital with unknown injuries.

Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.
