Fernstock Dinner sold out; Community invited to free concert

Dinner tickets have sold out for this year’s FernStock Dinner & Awards event on August 23, but 

the community is invited to the free concert starting at 7 p.m. 

The dinner is being held from 4-7 p.m. at the Fernley Senior Center. The event is to raise money 

for the Fernley Community Foundation and future buildings around the Community Response 

and Resource Center. 

The free public concert will be from 7-10 p.m. on the event lawn behind the Fernley Depot, with 

Sorokas playing their old funk sound with a modern twist from 7-8:15 p.m., followed by the 

Heidi Incident from 8:45-10 p.m.
