McKnight has top finish for Fernley at National High School Finals Rodeo

The 2024-25 high school rodeo season ended at the highest level for four members of the Fernley 

High School Rodeo Club. 

Kade McKnight had the top finish for Fernley, placing 28^th overall out of 79 competitors in 

aggregate in boys cutting 408 points, and placing 45^th out of 82 competitors in steer wrestling. 

In goat tying Kylie Ann Behrendt had an aggregate score of 16.79 to placed 38^th out of 169 

competitors. 

Olivia Process also competed in two events, placing 70^th out of 113 in girls cutting with 396 

points, and placed 120^th among 169 participants in goat tying. 

In bareback riding, Ian Leavitt placed 54^th out of 71 riders.
