McKnight has top finish for Fernley at National High School Finals Rodeo

The 2024-25 high school rodeo season ended at the highest level for four members of the Fernley 

High School Rodeo Club. 

Kade McKnight had the top finish for Fernley, placing 28th overall out of 79 competitors in 

aggregate in boys cutting 408 points, and placing 45th out of 82 competitors in steer wrestling. 

In goat tying Kylie Ann Behrendt had an aggregate score of 16.79 to placed 38th out of 169 

competitors. 

Olivia Process also competed in two events, placing 70th out of 113 in girls cutting with 396 

points, and placed 120th among 169 participants in goat tying. 

In bareback riding, Ian Leavitt placed 54th out of 71 riders.
