Dozens compete in Fernley Junior Rodeo
The All-Around winners of the last weekend’s Fernley Junior Rodeo were (Not in order) Hayes
Allegre of Fallon, Hazel Griffith of Las Vegas, Kestin Moore of Fallon, Mylee Macedo of
Lovelock and Jaden Dellera of Fallon.

Several dozen contestants turned out last weekend to compete in the 2025 Fernley Junior Rodeo and Stan Ceresola Memorial Roping at the rodeo grounds at the Out of Town Park.

The rodeo included events for PeeWees, including dummy roping, stick horse barrels, stick horse pole bending, goat undecorating, and mutton busting, along with the regular junior and intermediate events: team roping, steer daubing, breakaway roping, goat tying, flag race, calf riding, barrel racing, pole bending, figure 8, and steer riding.

This year’s all-around champions were:

10–13 Intermediate Boy
Hayes Allegre, Fallon

10–13 Intermediate Girl
Hazel Griffith, Las Vegas

6–9 Junior Boy
