Food for Thought - Cherry Tomato Caprese Salad

Beautiful to serve and oh so tasty this Cherry Tomato Caprese Salad is the perfect 

accompaniment to any summer meal. Sweet cherry tomatoes blend perfectly with the robust basil 

creating a sweet succulent salad that your friends and family will love.  

Ingredients  

∙8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, cubed or mozzarella balls  

∙1 (10 ounce) basket cherry tomatoes 

∙3 tablespoons torn fresh basil leaves 

∙1 ½ tablespoon olive oil 

∙1 ½ tablespoon sweet balsamic vinegar  

∙salt and pepper to taste 

Instructions  

In a medium salad bowl toss together mozzarella cheese, cherry tomatoes and torn basil. Drizzle 

olive oil and sweet balsamic vinegar over ingredients in bowl and mix. Salt and pepper to taste.  

Serves 4
