The Fernley Chamber of Commerce presented its 2016 End of Year Awards at Tuesday morning’s Chamber Ambassadors breakfast at the Golf Club at Fernley.

The Chamber honored its outgoing leaders and directors and presented a combination of humorous and deserving awards.

Newly elected Chamber President Kelly Brye also presented outgoing President Tracy Jo Johnson with an award for helping revitalize the Chamber during her two years as president.

The following are the individual awards and the recipients:
Best Listener – Pat Spracklin
Best After Hours – Paramount Asphalt
Best Grand Opening (Small business) – 1st Option Real Estate
Best Grand Opening (Big business) – Fernley Dodge
Best Hair – Nate Strong, Churchill Economic Development Authority
Brown Bag Award – Mayor Roy Edgington
Best Chamber Event – Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament
Most Likely to Get Lost – Angela Lewis, Tracy Jo Johnson, Jamie Creiglow and Kelly Robertson
Biggest Heart – Pat Hon (Organizer of the Community Thanksgiving Dinner)
Most Likely to Step Up to Help When Needed – Barbara Craig
Punctuality Award – Robert Perea, The Fernley Reporter
Best Charity Event – Fernley 45 (Patriot Poker Run)
Most Likely to Succeed – Jay Rodriguez, Biggest Little Radio
Best Speaker – Sean McCarthy, Focal Point Business Consulting
Community Leader of the Year – Mayor Roy Edgington
Community Organization of the Year – Service Above Self (Kathy Kennedy, Pat Hon and Fran McKay)
City Partner of the Year – Daphne Hooper, Fernley City Manager
Best Attendance by Organization – Fernley Republican Women
Best Tagline by a Vocal Artist – Dutch Schulz, The Golf Cub at Fernley
“Welcome Back” Award – Fran McKay, Past Chamber President
Biggest Dream Award – J.P. Smith, Generations Medical Concepts, LLC
