Michael Woodley August 17, 1946 - June 1, 2025

Michael (Mike) Stephen Woodley, of Springville, Utah, passed away on June 1, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on August 17, 1946, in Reading, Pennsylvania, to Robert and Eunice Woodley. His family moved to Virginia when he was two, later settling in Nevada.

At 17, Mike enlisted in the U.S. Army (Nevada National Guard) and was stationed in Aberdeen, Maryland. He earned a diploma in Automotive Repair and a Sharpshooter Badge. After his service he earned a certificate in construction training and specialized in concrete across multiple states. 

Mike was preceded in death by his parents Robert (Pops) & Eunice (Betty) Woodley: brother, Robert (Bob) Woodley; his son, Michael; his stepson, David; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Mike had four children, thirteen grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren. His son Michael Coen (deceased), and grandchildren: Raymond, Haley, Savanna, and Malena. His daughter, Lanel Jasper, and her husband, Cliff, of Rio Linda, California, and grandchildren: Melissa, Brinda, and Jessica. His son, Maverik Woodley, and his wife, Rachael, of Arlington, Texas, grandchildren: Emma, Mattalynn, and Luna. His son, Monty Woodley, and his wife, KyLee, are in Waco, Texas, with their children: KayDee, Monty II, and LillyAnn. Mike also had three stepsons: Terry, David (deceased), and Jimmy Keenan. Mike is survived by his sisters: Carol Norman, Barbara (Don) Hepler, Gretchen (George) Dini, Sandy (Don) Tibbals, Sherry (Mike) Ybarguen, and Shelia (Bryan) Masini.

A burial and military rites will be held on June 16 at 9:30 a.m. (Pacific Daylight Time) at the Northwest Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, Nevada. A memorial service will follow at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 155 US-95 ALT, Fernley, NV 89408, with a luncheon afterward.
