City Draws 39 Exhibitors for First Business Expo

Thirty-nine exhibitors and two food trucks turned out for Fernley’s first Business Expo 2025, scattered in the parking lot and along the sidewalks of Fernley’s City Hall last Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event was sponsored by the Fernley Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN).

Washington Federal Bank reported it is looking to hire a personal banker and customer service representatives at its Fernley branch, according to Wendy Ann Fagundes, branch manager. A&K Earth Movers, out of Fallon, wants to hire CDL drivers, concrete finishers/laborers, equipment operators, and paving crews. The Nugget Casino is hiring a shift manager, casino attendant, porters and a slot technician, according to human resources director Victoria Howard. Eden Health, a provider of home health care, palliative care and hospice care, was present at the event and is looking for all manner of caregivers.
