Highlights from Lyon County Sheriff Brad Pope’s press conference
-Suspect Adam Miller is still at large. The search has been reduced to an 800-meter radius where his phone has pinged. Pope said the phone has been turned off an on several times, so they believe the suspect and phone are in the same location.-There are 16 houses within that radius and LCSO has searched all 16 multiple times. They are now focused on outbuildings and other places a person could hide.-Pope said Miller stabbed his adoptive parents. His father died of his wounds, his mother is hospitalized due to her injuries but is expected to survive.-The Lyon County DA is in the process of issuing arrest warrants for Miller on open murder and other charges.-Miller is known to LCSO but most of his criminal history is as a juvenile, and the case involving him as an adult is still an open investigation, so Pope would not comment.

Suspect was last seen wearing red sweatpants. If you see the suspect he is considered armed and dangerous please call 911 immediately.
