Boys & Girls Club establishes new board governing Fernley clu

The Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows Serving Fernley is thrilled to announce the establishment of the Fernley Board, comprising esteemed community leaders dedicated to advancing the Club's mission and fostering positive change in the lives of young people.


Led by Chair Tina Petersen and Vice Chair Allison Pimentel, the Fernley Board brings together a dynamic team of individuals committed to making a difference in the community. Joining Petersen and Pimental on the board are Cody Wagner, Brittany Harrell, Mike McMordie, and Annie Kendricks.


"We are immensely grateful for the dedication and passion of our 2024 Board Members," said Oscar Aguilar, Director of Fernley Area at the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows. "Their collective expertise, energy, and commitment will propel our organization forward as we continue to empower youth and foster their development."


The mission of BGCTMSF is to enable all young people, especially those who need it most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. With the establishment of the Fernley Board, the Club reaffirms its commitment to this mission. It looks forward to leveraging the board's diverse talents and perspectives to create meaningful opportunities for youth in the Fernley community.
