Trex hosting charity golf tournament to benefit FHS Safe & Sober grad night

Robert Perea, The Fernley Reporter

Trex is hosting its first annual charity golf tournament on April 13 with all proceeds going toward the Fernley High School Safe & Sober graduation party.

The tournament will begin with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.

The Safe & Sober graduation party is being hosted by Fernley Project Graduation, a parent-led celebration held on graduation night. It will include games, activities, prizes, food, and fun.

Trex is looking for sponsors for this event. Hole sponsors of $100 will get a 17-inch round sign that will be placed at one of the tee boxes on the golf course the day of the tournament. They will also be holding a raffle during the tournament and are looking for raffle prizes.

If you have questions or would like to become a sponsor for this tournament, reach out to Jennifer Leyva with Trex at [email protected] or by calling 775-575-1632. You can sign up to play in the tournament by calling The Ranch at Desert Lakes at 775-835-6933

All Donations are due no later than April 1.

I grew up in Fernley and would be interested to see how many answers I know. The coin is beautiful. Congrats on 25 years as a city! Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.
