Lyon County schools say no credibility to reported threats

The Lyon County School District said unspecified threats received by several schools in Northern Nevada Tuesday morning were found to have no credibility.

The District sent a message to students and families Tuesday morning saying that all schools were safe and secure with school operations continuing as normal, with an increase law enforcement presence at schools.

Similar threats were acknowledged by the Douglas and Churchill County school districts and Carson City schools.
