State Treasurer’s Office generates highest investment returns in history, putting more than $214 million into vital programs

CARSON CITY, NV — Today, Nevada State Treasurer Zach Conine announced that his office has generated the highest investment returns in State history for the most recent fiscal year.

In fiscal year 2023, the Treasurer’s Office earned $214,953,536 in investment returns for the State of Nevada, which is more than three times the highest amount ever generated in a single year.

Since taking office, Conine and his investment staff have generated more than $337 million through its investments, which is the highest amount ever generated by a State Treasurer in history.

All interest earned by the Treasurer’s Office is distributed to State agencies to help them fund vital programs and services, including things like behavioral health, public education, environmental protection programs, and veterans’ services.

“Thanks to the hard work of our Investment Division, the Treasurer’s Office continues to do its part to keep our State on solid financial ground while generating revenue for programs that our residents rely on,” said Treasurer Zach Conine. “We will continue to deliver results for Nevadans over the next three years.”

Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.Comment publication date: 5/7/26, 10:26 AMComment source: Storey County, Tesla partner to extend I-80 Patrick on-rampComment author: Alan ReederComment text: Great guy, laughed easily, had fun with his students, enjoyed our time together at FHS!Comment publication date: 4/23/26, 10:23 PMComment source: Howard David JacksonComment author: Jack & Nancy CookComment text: Wonderful man.
