Robert Perea, The Fernley Reporter

The Fernley High School cross country team will host the 4th annual Roadhill 5K and 2.5K run on Saturday, Feb. 25.

The 2.5K run will start at 10 a.m. Feb. 25, followed by the 5K race at 10:30 a.m., with both beginning on the Fernley High School track

The 5K course is the same course the high school team races on during its annual home cross country meet.

The cost for racers 18 years old and younger is $15 (with race t-shirt) or $10 (without). Adults are $25 (with race t-shirt) or $20 (without). Shirts will only be available to racers whose registration is received by Feb. 11.

If you would like to support the cross country team, but don’t want to race, donations are gladly accepted.

Make entry or donation checks payable to: FHS Cross Country. Entry fees or donations can be mailed to Todd Wright at 155 Westward Ln, Fernley, NV, 89408, or dropped off at Fernley Elementary School.

For additional questions, call 775-229-2275.

All proceeds will benefit the FHS cross country team.
