Deadline is Friday to apply for vacant fire board seat

The North Lyon County Fire Protection District is seeking candidates to fill one vacated Board of Directors position. Candidates must live within the boundaries of the District. Interested parties need to provide the District with a Letter of Interest no later than 4 p.m. on Friday February 17.

The seat is vacant because Director Greg McCaffrey’s seat was up and he did not reapply the November election.

Appointment will be made at the Board of Directors Meeting on Thursday February 23,, at 195 East Main Street, Fernley, NV 89408.
