Early voting begins Saturday

Early voting for the 2022 general election begins Saturday and runs through November 4th. .

Polls will be open at the Lyon County Administrative Complex in Yerington, Fernley City Hall, and the Dayton Utilities Meeting room. Ballots allots can also be dropped off at the Yerington Paiute Tribe, Silver Springs Senior Center and Smith Valley Library.

The following polling places will be open for any Lyon County voter to vote on voting machines or drop off a mail ballot:

Lyon County Administrative Complex, 27 S. Main Street, Yerington Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2022, through Friday, October 28, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, October 31, 2022, through Friday, November 4, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Fernley City Hall, 595 Silver Lace Boulevard, Fernley Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2022, through Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, October 31, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2022, through Thursday, November 4, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dayton Utilities Meeting Room, 34 Lakes Boulevard, Dayton Monday, October 24, 2022, through Friday, October 28, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, October 31, 2022, through Friday, November 4, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Additionally, the following polling places will be open during the stated times for any Lyon County voter to drop off a mail ballot only:

Yerington Paiute Tribe, 171 Campbell Lane, Yerington and Yerington Paiute Tribe, 601 W. Bridge Street, Yerington Monday, October 24, 2022, through Friday, October 28 2022, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, October 31, 2022, through Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Silver Springs Senior Center, 2945 Fort Churchill Street, Silver Springs Tuesday, October 25, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Smith Valley Library, 22 Day Lane, Smith Valley Tuesday, October 25, 2022, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2022, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 8th.
