​Fernley Women’s Golf Club sponsoring charity tournament

The Fernley Women’s Golf Club will be hosting its annual charity tournament on Sunday, Sept. 18 at the Golf Club at Fernley.

The tournament is to support the Domestic Violence Intervention Center supporting Churchill and Lyon Counties.

Check in on the 18th will be at 7 a.m. with a tee time of 9 a.m. The cost is $75 per person or $35.00 per passholder, and cash payment is requested. Continental breakfast and lunch are included.

The format is a four-person scramble. All players on team tee-off on each hole, then advance to the best ball location and hit, repeating the sequence until the ball is in the hole.

To enter the tournament, RSVP to the Golf Club at Fernley, at 775-835-6933 or in person at 50 Desert Lake Drive.
