Cynthia Louise McKinney

Cynthia Louise McKinney

Cynthia Louise McKinney passed away on May 26th, 2022 at the age of 58 in Bend, Oregon surrounded by loved ones.

Cyndi was born in Reno, Nevada to her parents, Charles and Maxine. She grew up in the Reno/Sparks area and graduated from Sparks High School. She had a successful career in hospitality and hotel management and raised three children in Nevada with their father Mark.

Cyndi loved camping, water skiing, spending time with her family and friends, and traveling. She was a beautiful, strong, vivacious woman who loved hard, knew no strangers, and whose wild, infectious laughter was punctuated by an adorable little snort. She was also a spectacular cook. Her proudest accomplishment was her children and she loved being a grandma. Her final act of generosity was to give the gift of life through organ donation.

Cyndi was preceded in death by her beloved father, Charles. She is survived by her children, Joshua, Anthony, and Sarah, her mother Maxine, her siblings Linda, Vivian, and Mike, her partner, Jose, her dogs, River and Mable, and her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you consider a donation in Cyndi’s memory to the animal welfare charity of your choice.

Why does the County have to pay the whole bill? Just my opinion.
